Game Client My first game

Summary

Created as a final project in my first computer graphics course, this would be my first playable game. Programmed in Java with libGDX and using the fixed function pipeline in OpenGL. It consisted of a Game Client and Game Server and the communication between them was over TCP, not the best fit for a first person shooter.

It was voxel based where the environment was a fixed size of 50x50x50 voxels. Each voxel was rendered with a separate render call in the fixed function pipeline making it very inefficient. It did however provide a fun gameplay, running around, placing voxels and shooting at other players.
